Originating as a family-owned business in the 1980’s by Magnus Slater the current major shareholder and managing director The M&H Group has become a leading provider of same day and next day distribution services in the United Kingdom employing assets of over 150 people and 100 vehicles from 5 sites within Scotland with links to both national and international markets and providing supply chain solutions for many blue chip companies.
A brief history :
1987 – Aberdeen opens providing bespoke delivery solutions in the Royal Deeside area
1998 – Inverness is opened to support the growth at Aberdeen
2001 – Expand southwards into Dundee with the addition of JRS Logistics (Dundee) ltd
2002 – Founder member of The Scottish Network ( a next day service) consisting of a consortium of Scottish distribution companies strategically located at Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow, Gretna and Edinburgh with the addition also of a north east of England company in Newcastle
2004 – Opening of a satellite depot at Golspie to further facilitate distribution in the Highlands of Scotland
2008 – Integration of Glasgow hubas M&H Logistics Glasgow
